An indigo-hued concrete pot by artist Mary Martha Collins, framed with Japanese maples and placed against a neutral wood panel backdrop, is the focal point of this space. The artist’s concrete pot inspired the color scheme of the garden. Essentially a viewing garden, this backyard, only 15’ in depth, were layered with rows of soft grasses, evergreen shrubs, smooth concrete walls, crushed stone, corten, wood screens to create visual depth.
